After graduating from the University of Minnesota with a bachelor’s degree in Nursing I worked as a critical care nurse at two world renowned hospitals in Boston, Massachusetts. After 10 years of this valuable experience, I attended graduate school (Boston University and Simmons College) and received two master’s degrees in Nursing becoming a board-certified Nurse Practitioner in Adult Primary Care (ANP-C).
My professional experience as a Nurse Practitioner has always been in the field of Adult Medicine/Primary Care. Most recently, I was the owner and sole provider at New Paths to Healthcare, LLC, in Phoenix, Arizona where I took pride in providing medical care to a diverse population. My approach is to work with patients in partnership. Whether it be to advise and support their efforts to minimize risk factors (namely: prevention), or to take care of incidental, episodic illnesses, or to deal with more complex conditions such as diabetes or heart disease, my #1 priority is to help patients achieve their personal highest level of health and well-being.
